On August 18, 2023, LNT & Partners proudly welcomed the delegation of over 40 legal experts from The Law Society of Singapore at LNT & Partners Hanoi, Pacific Place, Hanoi. On this occasion, we hosted the Seminar on “Infrastructure & Renewable Energy: Discussion with The Law Society of Singapore”.

The Seminar provided an overview of laws and policies for investment in infrastructure and renewable energy in Vietnam and perspectives on the opportunities and challenges in these sectors. Along with our Partner LE Net, Senior Associate NGO Thanh Hai, and Associate VU Thi Thinh as panel speakers, legal practitioners and industry experts also engaged in thought-provoking discussions and shared some interesting insights.

This event marked a significant step forward in fostering collaboration between legal professionals from Vietnam and Singapore.

LE Net -  Partner

Le Net is the partner in charge of Singapore office of LNT & Partners. He is also in charge of financial services, infrastructure and arbitration practice group of the firm. In 2019 and early 2020, Net has been leading in a number of signature deals and cases, including: representing PetroVietnam in working with Nghi Son Refinery, acting for a number of subway construction projects in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, representing lender in a 8-bank syndication deal from China to Vietnam, representing Vingroup in a major M&A transaction, representing major renewable energy companies in wind power and solar power projects, winning an ICC construction arbitration case for Vietnam Expressway Corporation.

NGO Thanh Hai - Senior Associate

Hai had eight years’ experience in corporate, M&A, health care, infrastructure and dispute resolution practice. He is familiar with establishing businesses and contractual arrangements, assets or company acquisitions; and dispute resolution in Vietnam. He also advises on banking and real estate business such as contractual matters, licensing and mortgage procedures.

Prior to joining LNT & Partners, Hai had one year working as the legal specialist at a multinational energy company.

VU Thi Thinh - Associate

Vu Thi Thinh is an associate of LNT & Partners in Hanoi office. She has 4 years of experience working at LNT. During her time at LNT, she has successfully consulted and assisted a number of domestic and foreign clients in major transactions related to construction, infrastructure and power projects. Ms. Thinh is one of the first associates works at LNT office in Singapore, which is the focal point for a large number of foreign clients who want to invest to Vietnam. Thinh keeps a good relationship with Singaporean business organizations such as Singapore Bussiness Federation, Singapore Manufacturing Federation in connecting investment in Vietnam.
