Our lawyers Net Le and Thinh Vu were at the signing ceremony of the landmark Singapore Convention on Mediation. The Convention is expected to be as instrumental to commercial mediation as the New York Convention has been to arbitration, encouraging businesses to resolve their cross-border disagreements via mediation rather than taking them to court.

Dr Net was part of the Vietnam delegation to the Convention's drafting session in New York three years ago. Vietnam is not yet a signatory but we hope not for long.
