Last Friday, October 27, 2023, at New World Hotel Saigon, the Seminar “Vietnam in the Global Arena: Navigating International Contracts under Common Law Jurisdiction” successfully attracted the participation of more than ten businesses operating in Vietnam, in-person and online.

During this seminar, our experienced lawyers engaged in lively discussions, sharing insights and making comparisons between the legal frameworks in Malaysia and Vietnam. The seminar also provided a platform for addressing questions and concerns raised by attending businesses, particularly those related to labour issues and the implementation of Decree 13 on personal data management.

Through these valuable exchanges, the lawyers identified potential areas of misunderstanding for businesses and offered practical advice to help them navigate disputes and potential legal issues more effectively.
