Mr. Hieu is an associate at LNT & Partners in the Hanoi and Singapore office of the firm. He has 3.5 years of experience working at LNT. During his time at LNT, he has successfully advised and assisted a diverse portfolio of domestic and foreign clients in major transactions related to banking & finance, construction, infrastructure, and dispute resolution (including tax dispute) in a variety of industries.
Prior to joining LNT & Partners, Mr. Hieu worked as an intern with the secretariat of the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), and the legal department of Eurowindows Holding.
Mr. Hieu graduated 1st class honour from a global top 5 law school – the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Advised PV Power in EPC contract for combined cycle LNG power project Nhon Trach 3 & 4 for total capacity of 1.5 GW;
Advised Petro Vietnam on the negotiation of an offtake agreement with Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC;
Advised PVGAS on the termsheet and JVA with AES Corporation to develop the Son My LNG terminal project;
Assisted Chrysaor Holdings Ltd in obtaining Vietnam merger clearance for its reverse takeover of Premier Oil plc, a leading UK oil company with gas and oil interests in the UK, Asia, Africa and Mexico;
Drafted the submissions, prepared evidence and witness (including expert) for an 100 million USD EPC construction dispute concerning a petropolyester project (ICC Rule);
Drafted the submissions, prepared evidence and witness for a multi-million dollar transportation construction dispute (ICC Rule);
Drafted the submissions, prepared evidence for a 10 million USD EPC contract dispute concerning an offshore oil pipeline construction project (VIAC Rule);
Acted as local counsel for an 84 million USD bridge loan in relation to an offshore oil & gas project (APLMA form);
Drafted and translated a 7-bank syndicated loan finance documents worth 80 million USD (APLMA form).
